UK Universities Application Deadline for January 2020 Intake

Important dates for admission to UK University 2020



It is important to familiarize yourself with the important UCAS deadlines before starting your application. Some universities (Cambridge and Oxford) and courses (medical, veterinary and dental) have a much earlier deadline and it is important that you are fully aware of those who influence your application.

Important UCAS Deadline
All UCAS deadlines for courses in the UK can be found below, but these are the two major dates to become familiar with the cycle of the UCAS application.


  • 15 October 2019 - All courses in Cambridge and Oxford and other medical, veterinary and dental courses in all other institutions
  • 15 January 2020 - All other undergraduate courses for EU students
  • 30 June 2020 - All other undergraduate courses for international students


Selected UK universities, however, allow international applications after certain deadlines. Talk to one of our advisors to find out more.


2020 UK University Deadline
All of the below are the deadlines for students wishing to study in the UK from September 2020.

October 15, 2019
Deadlines for the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and for most courses in medicine, veterinary and dentistry.

January 15, 2020

  • Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for EU students.


30 June

  • Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for international students.
  • Applications received after 30 June are filed with UCAS Clearing.


July 4

  • Deadline to apply for September 2020 entry through UCAS Additional.


5 July

  • 2020 UCAS Clearing opens.
  • 2020 International Backlourite Results Published.


August 15

  • A-Level Results Days.


20 September
