Eligibility Criteria for MBA in France
Even though each university has set its own eligibility criteria for MBA, some basic requirements for admission are the same for all French universities. This includes:
  1. Minimum work experience of three to four years (may vary according to university)
  2. Any Bachelor’s Degree or educational qualification equivalent to French Baccalaureate
  3. A valid IELTS or TOEFL score for international students and non-native English speakers
  4. A valid GMAT or GRE score (depending on the university)

The application process for MBA in France
  • Most French universities have an online application process and application forms can be downloaded from their respective websites.
  • The filled form needs to be submitted along with the required documents and an application fee. Do not wait for the deadline and try to submit the form as soon as possible.
  • If selected, you will receive an interview call from the University which will be conducted online or through other electronic means.
  • It can take up to two months for the visa application to be approved. Therefore, it is advisable to have a student visa for France before getting the admission card.
Pre and Post MBA Visa

As a student going for MBA in France, you need to apply for 'Visa de Long Séjour Etudes' or 'Long-Stay Visa'. This visa allows you to stay for the full duration of your program, during which you can work 964 hours a year, as long as your studies are not affected.

Once you have earned your MBA, you can apply for a non-renewable one-year temporary residence permit known as an APS (Authorisation Provisoire de Séjour). Under this permit, you are allowed to find a full-time job as well as work up to 60% of the normal working week.
