Costs Reimbursed: Up to eight semesters of undergraduate study are covered by the tuition fee paid by the Tata Education and Development Trust. Scholarship Eligibility - Candidates asking for funding must have at least a 60 percent grade point average in their most recent academic qualification and must possess a sufficient understanding of China's geography, culture, and legacy. Candidates must complete a year of Chinese language training before being admitted because the courses are taught in Chinese.


Depending on the candidate's financial needs, the scholarship will cover living and travel expenses in addition to the tuition fee. The costs of the flights to and from China are covered by the Indian government.
